Jeszcze nie zabrałam się do projektu nr 1 i 2 też, ale jest postęp. Mianowicie zgromadziłam odpowiedni metraż podszewki do kurteczki w pepitkę.
Ale za to, żeby moje maszyny nie uległy entropii, zabrałam się za skończenie rozpoczętego białego gorseciku o którym wspomniałam w
tym poście.
Gorset jest z białej bawełny z lycrą i ma wszczepione dwie metalowe profilowane fiszbiny z odzysku. Głowiłam się trochę nad zamkiem rozdzielczym, ale w końcu stwierdziłam, że zastosuję patent z sukienek z lat sześćdziesiątych i zrobiłam z tego samego materiału pętelki. Świeżutko wykrojony gorsecik i efekt końcowy widać na zdjęciach poniżej...

Druga gorsetowa rzecz to sukienka na podstawie projektu z Burdy 2010 z marca. Właściwie jest to połączenie dwóch modeli nr
107 i
108. Z modelu 107 wzięłam długość i całą resztę, a z modelu 108 godet i "bezkieszeniowość" ;). Godet wydał mi się miłym zastępstwem dla rozporka, bo bardzo ich nie lubię, dlatego kiedy tylko mogę unikam ich jak ognia. Jeszcze nie wykończony projekt wygląda jak poniżej i myślę, że tchnie nadzieją :)

Na gorset użyłam elastycznej dzianiny z koronką, prezent od mojej kuzynki Ewci, za który bardzo jej dziękuję. Dół sukienki jest z satyny z lycrą, a podszewka to poliester z lycrą. Za jakiś czas nastąpi tu prezentacja gotowej sukienki. Prace postępują... mogę Was o tym zapewnić :)
I didn't manage to start projects no 1 and 2, but there is a progress. Namely, I collected a suitable piece of lining for my
hounds-tooth check jacket. In order to prevent my machines from succumbing to entropy, I continue my white corset, which I mentioned
here.
For the corset I used cotton with Lycra. I fastened two metal, profiled underwires - salvaged from an old corset that was too small. I had a problem with buying a 22 cm open-ended zip. Eventually I applied fastening patent used for the dresses in the 60's. Out of the cotton I made loops and fastened them one by one. And next I sewed buttons as you can see in the pictures below...

The second application of the corset is in a dress from the Burda magazine pattern, March 2010. Actually it is a combination of two patterns no
107 and
108. From the pattern no 107 I took the length of the dress. I took the rest from the pattern no 108. I liked there especially a flare panel stitched on a lower skirt and the idea that the dress has no pockets ;). The flare panel seemed to me a nice alternative for a fly or a box plead. I don't like flies at all. That is why I avoid them as often as I can. The unfinished project looks like that in the pictures below. I think there is some hope for it :)

For the corset I used some stretchy knitted fabric. It is a double layer fabric - lace stick on the silver base. The fabric was a present from Ewa the Cousine, for which I am very grateful. The skirt part of the dress is made of satine with Lycra. The dress has a polyester lining also with addition of Lycra. In time I will present this dress with my makeover. I can ensure you, the work is progressing :).
