Może niektórzy pamiętają, że ten blog raczkował jako MadeByMargarita, logo stworzonym na podstawie kodu kreskowego. Po niewielkim poszukiwaniu stwierdziłam, że ktoś już wpadł na podobny pomysł, dlatego logo bloga zmieniło się radykalnie...
Za czasów MadeByMargarita skorzystałam z tutoriala Longredthread o samodzielnym wykonaniu wszywek. Wszywki bardzo mi się spodobały, pomyślałam: "A dlaczego nie? Też sobie takie zrobię!"
Jak pomyślałam tak zrobiłam! Zakupiłam wszystko co trzeba... I przystąpiłam do dzieła.
Przy wprasowywaniu napotkałam trudności, mało która metka wprasowała się w całości, zużyłam jedną kartkę A4 papieru termoaktywnego i powiedziałam: "Dosyć!" Efekt był załamujący. Nie umiem dociec dlaczego. Wszywki wyszły mi tak:
Te ze zdjęcia należą do tych "najlepszych" :). No i problem ze strzępiącymi się brzegami... Nie poradziłam sobie. :(
Ku swojej radości znalazłam w poście jednej z blogerek informację, że MANTA drukuje małe ilości wszywek na materiale. Napisałam zmówiłam i mam - piękne wszywki na satynie. Oto i one:
Prawda, że wyglądają estetyczniej i bardziej profesjonalnie?
Chciałabym zaznaczyć, że ten post nie jest sponsorowany! Zamieszczam go z wdzięczności dla pana Piotra z Manty, który zgodził się, jak to określił, "hobbystycznie" wydrukować niewielką ilość wszywek dla hobbystki, która lubi szyć. :)
Na koniec doniesienia z frontu krawieckiego:
Biedzimy się nad projektem nr 4. Coś nam ciągle nie gra z przodem tej sukienki... A zima się kończy.
No i jest pomysł na projekt nr 5 - sukienka wiosenna. Na podstawie projektu z Burdy 5/2012 nr 107c.

Wykrój zrobiony, "suszy się i dojrzewa" na ścianie czeka jeszcze na stopniowanie na Szyrafę ze wzrostu 168 na 176. Materiały, jakich użyję niech na razie pozostaną niespodzianką.
Maybe some of you remember that this blog started as MadeByMargarita. I created a logo based on a barcode. After some research I found out that someone else had a similar idea at the same time and that is why I completely changed the blog's logo.
In the days of MadeByMargarita I saw a tutorial by Longredthread that presented how to make labels by oneself from iron-on stickers. I liked the labels and I thought: "Why not? I am also going to make labels like that". I did what I had planned. I bought all the needed things and... proceeded to making the labels.
While ironing on I came across some obstacles, and finally only a few of my stickers looked nice and neat. I used a whole A4 sheet of iron-on stickers and I said to myself: That's enough! The effect was depressing. I couldn't find out why... My labels looked like this:
The ones in the picture are "the best ones" :). And then you have the problem with the frayed edges... I just did not manage to do it well. :(
However I was very glad to find out from one blogger's post that MANTA produces small quantities of labels on fabric. I wrote to them, I made an order - and here they are - beautiful labels on satin. You can see them here:
Aren't they neater and more professional?
I would like to note here that this is not a sponsored post! I'm putting it here out of sheer gratitude for Mr Piotr from Manta who agreed to print a small amount of labels for a sewing hobbyist - and as he said - he himself did it "just for a hobby".
I would like to finish with a bit of a report from the tailoring front:
I am still toiling on project no 4. All the time I have some issues with the front belt-like part of the following dress... and in the meantime the end of the winter is approaching fast.
And here is an idea for project no 5 - a spring dress. It is based on Burda 5/2012 pattern no 107c.

I have already made the pattern and it is being "seasoned" on the wall, waiting to be adjusted for Szyrafa - from the height of 168 to 176 cm. For now I won't tell you what material I am going to use - let it be a surprise.
